Premier Inn Exmouth Seafront

Fantastic location right on the beach, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, as for the hotel it was perfect for my family and the virlew was amazing.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way to the South West. The hotel is generally very comfortable but I feel it could do with a bit of renovating of the carpets etc, it's looking a bit dated. There were also tarpaulins across a couple of parts of the facade so not too sure what they are for. One of the positives is that there is ample parking there though you do have to pay £8 for 24hrs. The reception staff were friendly and to be fair our booking for the 2 nights was a bit complicated as we'd booked 2 single nights as we wanted a twin room and they only had one free for one of our nights so we'd had to book a double for the first night, so that did cause a bit of confusion with the receptionist but we got there in the end. Our first night was in the double on the top floor and came with a large walk-in shower which was really useful. The first time we've had a room with just a shower in it but it's far better than having to step over the rather high-sided bath that normally features in Premier Inns. The room was comfortable though strangely the bed was quite high. Housekeeping provided us with single duvets which was good. We ate in the restaurant both for breakfast and evening meal and can certainly recommend it. Our evening meal was very good and the staff were smiling, very efficient and very accommodating with our wishes. We had prawn cocktail and salt & pepper squid as starters followed by lasagne for my wife and scampi and chips for me. All the food was excellent, beautifully cooked and the scampi and chips was served on a warm plate which makes a difference. The breakfast here is a buffet but everything on the cooked breakfast was well cooked and fresh when we were there so no congealed fried eggs or dried out bacon which is sometimes the case. It was very good. Sadly this Premier Inn doesn't have small cups for espresso just large mugs. Some Premier Inns do have smaller cups and on a recent visit to one of these the waitress let me keep my small cup so I carry it around with me to use in those that don't have them. A great stay and the location is excellent on the Esplanade and just a 10min walk into the centre of town.

Brilliant stay! Great price! Yummy breakfast! We stayed here after seeing a show and it was ideal- not far! Perfect seafront location for a morning stroll too!

Parking was easy and cheap. Staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, tidy and fresh. Air conditioning worked extremely well. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was hot, tasty and had a lot of choice. We had a lovely sea view (room 112) and we will definitely return.

Our room on the second floor had a lovely east view looking out toward the Bath Inn and the beach and sea. It was very quiet with no discernible noise from external sources. The room was very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Everything was there at the hotel to have an enjoyable stay.

Not enough staff on to cover all stations, there was only one member of staff on all night , other members of staff did not turn up for work, so she had to cover check in, bar and serve at the table, chicken was not available, how can chicken not be on the menu. The food was well cooked and presented, still cold plates at breakfast if you take from the stack of plates because they stack them so high the ones at the top do not get hot, second place that done this in 3 weeks , great bedroom plenty of hot water and the beds were fab , dont agree other comments about the beds , Premier in have some of the best beds!! Now dont be fooled by that lovely hotel shot , its not looking like that now, clearly that was taken when new, see photo as it is now, as for the parking charges did not see that at the time of booking, total madness for guests to charge us. but great location on sea front.
